I love this charming ink drawing because its made up of the many colors. Multi-colored oil based inks produce dark, rich colors, bold flowing lines and subtle half tone shading or blending. Yellow, orange, pink, brown, gold, red, black, peacock & dark blue, green, yellow green, purple and light purple plus much blending produced such lovely colors. Pen and Ink has been around for the past four thousand plus years yet these new bright colors are being introduced by my BallPoint Pen Art program!
Dark rich colors have elevated the Pen and Ink art movement to a new level comparable to other mediums. Our colors are some what limited however upward and onward is the direction of Jerry Stith’s Ball Point Pen Art movement or programs. Today, the Fisher Pen Company produces ten different colors for those interested in advancing Pen and Ink art history. I’m doing just that via my ballpoint pens, half tones, dark rich colors and long flowing bold lines.
Many artists are free spirited as am I. However bringing the largest undeveloped art movement to light before one billion others via this WWW certainly brings many challenges. Over ten thousand hours of my free time was spent developing, archiving, recording or documenting what a ballpoint pen can do as an art medium. A “Labor of Love” comes from this volunteers heart or child of God. My heart is open to helping others because that's exactly what Jesus Christ did for us all, amen!
Let the inks flow or keep on creating comes from this artist.
Respectfully Yours,
Jerry Stith
